Choremonster was a great app until they separated out the parent controls into Mothershp. Now there are tons of issues. Both apps are pretty much unusable. Chores inexplicably dont show up or are duplicated. I also find it extremely annoying that they dont respond to emails about the issues. Too bad they ruined a perfectly good app with the introduction of Mothershp.

Took the same concept we used with ChoreMonster but created a nice old fashioned chore chart. Had to fix chores, pictures, and point values over and over again. Over it... Deleted✔️

Chore Monster was great by itself. Mothership is convoluted and difficult to use. Please get rid of Mothership and restore the parents functionality to Chore Monster.

Im hoping they will fix the current version. The same chore shows up three or four times. Chores that are already set up with change.

I got this app and enjoyed it for the first version, but when it required Mothership to be downloaded...well, the Chore Monster app went to crap and the Mothership app has been convoluted and not intuitive at all since its release. Pass on this app.

Great idea for an app, horrible execution. You are supposed to be able to set a display photo for each chore. However, the photos for chores never show up, so if you have a young child who cant yet read they wont be able to use this app. This is soooo disappointing because in the previous version the photos worked fine and my child actually started to do chores cheerfully.

You ruined a perfectly good app by adding the mothership. It takes forever to sift through chore options, multiplying them every time my child does not choose to complete a chore. This was a fantastic app, but both my child and I hate what its become.

Update. It is also now giving chores new due dates in October. I cant spend all my time fixing the dates at bed time every night. Im giving up on this app until they fix the bugs. Its worse than telling my kids twenty times to do each chore. Question: Why cant you just let us download the old version until this mess is fixed? The old chore monster was amazing. I dont see how mothership was ever beta tested by anyone who uses the app in real life or even in your offices. Basic functions are unusable! I loved this app and recommended it to so many parents. It was a great concept and worked pretty smoothly. Now its unusable. I have 166 alerts because the chore shows up an additional every time you say you completed it! All the custom pictures disappeared and all the googled pictures. I spent so much time setting this up and it worked great until mothership forced me to transition. Its nothing but glitches now and a source of frustration. I wish theyd pull mothership and give me the old chore monster back until they can fix it. Im totally in a lurch here.

WHAT exactly is the mothership app for? I cant add or edit chores, actually I cant do much of anything beyond look at my kids info. Useless. So I go on my desktop to add and edit chores and reward... then usually I have to go back multiple times and do it again. And again. And give up on adding pictures, because many of those just disappear. I loved Choremonster when I got it last spring, although it was burdensome to set up and definitely had room for improvement. Now? Im THIIIIS close to giving up on it. Fix it. Fast.

I loved this app before Mothershp. My 3 & 4 year old loved seeing what chores they could do to "buy" monsters and get rewards. But...Every. Single. Day. I have to login on my computer (not my iPhone or iPad) and reset the chore because it disappears or resets the day. For example, Getting dressed every day started skipping days. The worst part are the chore images. It doesnt matter how you set them up (Google, take a picture, upload a file) - they revert back to the default Every. Single. Day. If the default was helpful, I might still use this app. But the default is a brush and dust pan...that doesnt quite work for feeding the dogs. Dont download this until you start seeing reviews saying it works - double check the forums online too - it looks like some recent reviews have been deleted.

I agree with what others have said who have this. My family loved Chore Monster. Since Mothership launched it had been a mess with duplicate chores, images disappearing etc. I too feel badly to the users I recommended it to. Please bring back the old Chore Monster, revert and admit you all made a mess out of a perfectly good app!

I used this app to help keep my kids in task and help with chores around the house. When they did a task it went away and I was able to keep track of their chores that way instead of asking them over and over. That feature is gone now with the Mothership. Also, it is very glitchy and doesnt add the points up right.

The concept of this app is so great! Of all the chores apps, my daughter and I were drawn to this one because its free and it has fun graphics & characters! Bugs so far: My chores I set keep disappearing; credits go back to what they were before and not what I set them to; the order of chores according to time keeps rearranging; and when I first set this app up, it said there were overdue chores from previous day, so when I chose to skip the overdue it also skipped the chores for later that day. Im going to have to go with a different app that works:( I hope this one gets better!

I think this app is AMAZING its really going to help me do my chores but my only complaint is that I think that 2 panted should be able to be in charge not just one. I hope you take this into consideration.

I love this app and how it makes my son excited to do chores! My only feedback would be that he doesnt "win" frequently enough when he uses tickets to spin the wheel. Otherwise, A++!

Weve tried other chore systems and this was a game changer. I love the flexibility to add lots of different items at different point levels. My daughter is very motivated by this.

10/7/16 Im done! Newest update still didnt fix all the stupid issues with this app. I have taken time to put custom pictures on for the last time. My son goes to use the app today and only half the pictures are there. Time to look for a new app. I have given this one plenty of chances. With the the most recent updates we are having all kinds of issues. All the custom pictures are gone, apps are duplicated, monsters wont load. Thats all I can think of right now but this all comes after I referred a group of mom friends to his app for their children. Kind of upset some downloaded and tried to use it and now all these problems. Updated 9-7-16 Even after the most recent update to try and fix all of the problems the same ones are still happening. Duplicate chores, missing pictures, etc. seems like the only thing the update fixed was the monster loading problem. I referred a group of mom friends to this app and Ill refer them to a different one as soon as I find one. Im really disappointed in this app. I loved it at first.

There should be a little icon for goals so kids can set goals on like how much points they want to get and others kind of things like that and the monsters that you earned they should add that certain chore to the list of chores that you have to do this would be a great improvement thank you!!!!

It was a great app until the newest update where it would give me the same and different versions of the chores!!! It would also have simple ones (like brush your teeth and shower) go onto the next day when it shouldnt!! Im not sure if this is a bug or something I could fix, but it super annoying to have to say that I have brushed my teeth or yes I have showered three times.......
